The Colombo High Court today ordered Captain Senaka Haripriya De Silva to get the translation of the Belgium Court order authenticated by the Belgium Embassy in Sri Lanka in order to be considered for bail.

Colombo High Court Judge Ms. Deepali Wijesundera made this order on the second accused Captain Senaka Haripriya De Silva who is indicted with the former Army Commander Sarath   Fonseka for allegedly harboring army deserters  in the  election office of Sarath Fonseka  at Cinnamon Gardens during the Presidential Election period.

When the matter was taken up for inquiry Senior Counsel Saliya Pieris filed the sworn translation of the third chamber of appeal in Ghent of Belgium in the Colombo High Court and said that Senaka De Silva was acquitted with three other accused in that case. (T. Farook Thajudeen)
