The Bribery Commission today filed legal action against UPFA parliamentarian Rohitha Abeygunawardene in the Colombo High Court on charges of unlawfully acquiring assets worth Rs.41.2 million between 2004 and 2006, sources said. (Shehan Chamika)

It is suicidal to arrest MR or Gota as many people respect them for playing a major part in ending the war. No government will want the unrest and turbulence due to such action. It is easy for arm chair critics to ask for their arrest.
