A bulldozer clearing land at a UN project was damaged following a blast in Thoppur, Muttur this evening which, according to Muttur police, is believed to have been the result of an uncleared mine.  

The activities of the UN project has been temporarily suspended and the Muttur police is conducting further investigations.  (Daily Mirror online)
