A notorious underworld gangster Kiriellage Melan Ajantha Pethum alias ‘Bloemendhal Pethum’ was arrested last evening at Bloemendhal in Colombo following a tip off, the Police said.
A 3.8 mm revolver, 15 live bullets and packets of 10 grams and 240 mg of heroin were also taken into custody.
