Video: Body of Intelligence Police officer found in Godagama

The body of a Police Inspector attached to the Western Province Intelligence Unit in Mount Lavinia was found with gunshot injuries in a paddy field in Godagama a short while ago, police said.

They said that the victim was identified as M. Samarakoon.

Police media spokesman Ajith Rohana said investigations were been carried out to ascertain whether it was a suicide or a murder.(DS)
