A twelve year old boy died after falling from a three-storey building at the Sri Pushparama Temple in Nattandiya, while trying to catch pigeons on the roof of the temple, last evening.

Police said the victim had entered the temple secretly with two friends. After the fall the friends went to their homes and informed their parents about the incident.

The body of the boy is now at the Marawila Hospital and Marawila police are currently conducting investigations into the incident. (Augustine Fernando)
