Brothel raided in Wellawatta

Three women and a manager of a brothel, which had allegedly operating in the guise of a massage parlour in Wellawatta, were arrested during a raid carried out by the Police on Friday night.

Police said the arrested women were aged between 21 and 31. The suspects including the manager were later remanded till May 08 after they were produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court.

Ladies...If you allow to legalize the prostitution....better to forget your husband and mind your own business rather than getting Aids or similar disease, finally the value of the unity of a family will fade away for ever it will just be like in the western. When you need the help of the wife or children when you really need their support they will legalize the support towards you.

Wow lot of people want this legalized. Morally, Legally and Ethically it cannot be legalized, even though some politicians and others who enjoy it support it. It could destroy the basic foundation of the society, The Family, Additionally Laws may be required to kill the offspring from the "mistakes" (abortions) and those that wont will have to be given child and "mistress" support, which will drastically reduce the Support for the legal family. And finally a Bastard nation will be the outcome, Which this current society does not agree.

As a fellow citizen and human being.Will we allow our own mother or sister to be in this trade? If every citizen and politician think in this way all the affected women will be in respected trade and productive to their family and society as whole for the country. Women should be treated like a gold not like a sexual object. This is a basic rights all women should get by birth.

Imagine sleeping with all sort of men; dirty, smelly, sick, mentally sick, STDers, fatty, swetty, etc. You might now say that they have a choice to select whom they should sleep with.
