Bus falls on roof of house

A Badulla bound CTB bus from Welimada that ran off the road at Galaboda ella this morning in Ettampitiya rolled down a slope and fell on the roof of a house causing serious injuries to ten passengers.

The injured were admitted to Attampitiya hospital and three of them who were in critical condition were later transferred to the Badulla hospital.

Police said the bus had about 33 passengers on board at the time of the accident.

However, the only woman who was in the house escaped unhurt. The bus and the house were extensively damaged due to the incident. (Palitha Ariyawansa and Prasad Rukmal – Badulla)

There are soo many dreadful accidents. TOOOO many vehicls on the roads. Some thing severe has to be done to correct and prevent. If not its going be to worse than tsunami
