A memory card containing a six minute LTTE war video was seized and two men suspected to be former LTTE members were arrested by the Muthur police.

The memory card was seized while the suspects were watching the video.

In addition to the memory card the suspects had in their possession cash to the value Rs.50,000. The arrested were residents from the Pathanapuram area in Muthur.

Muthur police terrorist investigation unit is conducting further investigations. (Amadoru Amarajeewa)

Is it illegal?
1. to hold a memory card contain an LTTE war video ? There is plenty you can download off the net.
2. Have in possession Rs. 50,000 in cash
If so, What law's apply ? DM should make these facts clear to the public. That in my opinion is an important part of reporting.
