Australia's captain Michael Clarke won the toss and chose to bat first against Sri Lanka in the fourth ODI at the SCG.

Needing to win the match to keep the series alive, the hosts named a team unchanged from the XI who were rolled for a humiliating 74 in Brisbane on Friday.

Sri Lanka made two changes to their team. In expectation of some extra spin Rangana Herath was recalled ahead of Shaminda Eranga, while Dinesh Chandimal was included after recovering from a hamstring strain, taking the place of Upul Tharanga.

A win in Sydney would hand the series to Sri Lanka following their victories at Adelaide Oval and the Gabba, and an overcast day in Sydney should afford their seam bowlers the opportunity for some early movement through the air.
