Five students of a grade three class in a school in Dikwella were hospitalized when a coconut tree crashed on to their classroom roof, police said.

The injured students were admitted to the Matara and Dikwella hospitals for treatments.

Police are conducting further investigations.

Cut down all trees posing a risk of crashing. School doesn't need coconut as all parents will look after the need of coconuts for cooking food for their children.

...because one tree fallen how to cut all trees? The importance of trees in schools should be emphasized keeping them looked after well. Watcher garderners non-alcoholics needed!
