Video: Cigarettes worth Rs.125m detected
The Customs revenue task Force today detected a container, consisting of contraband cigarettes valued at Rs. 125 million, imported from Dubai declared as coriander.
The container which had arrived from Dubai on May 5 was detained on suspicion and was inspected today.
The Deputy Customs Director Parakrama Basnayake said this was the second container load of cigarettes imported from Dubai this year.
