Courts to go hi-tech, says CJ

Chief Justice Mohan Peiris said the country's judicial structure would be subjected to reform and the judicial work in Courts would be transformed into an electronic Technology system in due course.
A pilot project called ‘E 5’ is to be introduced at the Matara Courts complex and this would ease the congestions in Courts, the CJ said.
Addressing a ceremony at the Panadura District Court, the CJ also said that the working hours of courts would be changed from 9 am to 4 pm on week days.(KS Fernando)
