UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said today that discipline is necessary to unite the party and that he doesn’t want to answer critics as they also hold responsible posts in the UNP. (YP)

in my view Ranil is a seasoned statesmen. Sri Lanka has only a few remaining after being brutally assassination by LTTE. UNP needs Ranil but he must not be the leader. Hope all concerned do justice to UNP. Stronger opposition is needed to safeguard democracy.

Discipline should start from the top. After continuous defeats (how many I have lost count) should'nt RW be disciplined enough to step down? Physician heal thyself.
