An eight-year-old boy drowned in the St. Anthony’s Boys school, Katugastota swimming pool yesterday, according to the Katugastota Police. The boy, a student of Sussex International School, fell into the pool while walking out of the complex after training.

The body is at the Kandy Hospital and the post mortem will be conducted today. The Katogasthota Police are carrying out further investigations.
