Former Narahenpita OIC who was arrested in connection with a bribe of Rs.2.5 million said to have been accepted by the Crimes OIC was released on bail by Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapititya today.

The Magistrate released the OIC on Rs. 15,000 cash bail with two sureties of Rs. 1 million each. He was also banned from travelling abroad. (Shehan Chamika Silva)
