A five-year-old boy drowned at a residential pool at Swarapola in Piliyandala last night, the Police said.

The victim was identified as Samindul Lakshan, a resident of Swarapola.

Police said the child drowned after he had collapseed in to the swimming pool. Piliyandala Police are investigating.
