Former MP Wasantha Perera remanded

Former Matale District UPFA MP Lakshman Wasantha Perera who was arrested today on charges of allegedly abducting a man and assaulting, was remanded till August 6 by Matale Magistrate.

He was arrested after he surrendered to the Matale Police this morning.(Mahesh Keerthirathna)

Culprits, Hooligans and underworld thugs of this magnitude should be put behind bars instead of sending them to the Parliament. we are more concern this time before voting about the unruly behavior and derogatory language these so call politician are used these days.
