Everything is poor in SL because it's a country that begs for eveything.

We are earning lot of money through cricket, but still we couldn't create a good grounds and pitches with standards level. Cricket administration must have to rethink about these kind of failures and have to get correct decisions. Most of the peoples in srilanka like cricket. In hear i request for all of cricket lovers from cricket administration to get best actions for these kind of issues.

Cricket generates a lot of money, why not bring our grounds/pitches to international standards, if we are to be a first class cricketing nation.

when conditions are fast bowler friendly and when its swings like a boomrang -it's an awesome surface .. when the pitch is a spinning one then its a poor wicket .... there were almost three centuries scored in the Galle match .So how come one say it was a bad pitch .It was batsman lacking skill and discipline rather than the pitch.

@ kugan they won and still they are giving a negative report. The fact that two teams with strong batting lineups had recorded low scores in this match means something's wrong with the pitch. Let's not be prejudiced.

I hope that ICC has set up a bench mark for preparation of test pitches including some guide lines for curators. ICC should consult the two umpires of their assessment or the opinion of the pitch condition throughout the game. It’s surprise to hear negative comments even after Aussis have won!

Embaracing and totally not required. our spinners have traditionally done very well in sri lankan pitches and there was absolutely no need to try to do anything out of the ordinary and end result was humilation and impact on our own top batsman being unable to dominate. All those responsible shoukd be taken to task.

Is it only the Galle pitch that is "poor" in Sri Lanka Cricket?

Now everybody blames the pitch and not our batsmen who didn't even do justice to our bowlers. Aneyda kiyanne!!!

Better to prepare a pitch that gives a result in 4 days than one ends with no results in 5 days. It was a difficult wicket but the greats like Hussey, Mahela and young Mathews showed everyone how to play on it.

I agree. It looked more like a 5th day wicket on day 1! Chris Broad got this absolutely right!

We cricket loving Sri Lankans are concerned about a good game of Cricket than an unethically gain victory.
