Heavy traffic in Kollupitiya

Traffic congestion was reported in Kollupitiya on the Galle Road due to a protest staged by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) in protest of the attacks on Palestine, police said.

Our reporter said the protestors are marching towards the US Embassy in Kollupitiya.

What about those who were killed by JVP and DJV during 88/89 and 90 period. They lead hundred thousands of innocent Sri Lankan youth to grave by fight with the government forces while their leaders hiding. Now the leaders have come out and demonstrating against Israel.

Better if protest of this nature or any other be taken to areas where public will not be disturb. Hamas was a creation of Israel to hit at Al Fatha of Yasir Arafat. There is doubt Hamas has a hand in this war by supporting Israel to bomb and Hamas is responsibly for all the deaths, injured and infrastructure

Jvp imagines that they could get the muslim votes by all there efforts of proper gander. They are worried about Gaza Yes even the Muslims are. JVP is protesting outside the US Embassy which seems appropriate. USA is the only nation stopping the UN accusing Israel of war crimes or even condemning their disproportionate attack on Gaza.
