The Sri Lanka Air force Commander has appointed an independent board of inquiry headed by an Air Vice Marshal to inquire into the incident which occurred at Katukurunda where six Air Force personnel have been placed in remand custody for their alleged involvement in a clash.

 These SLAF personnel are part of a team which was undergoing close protection training at the STF training center in Katukurunda.  (Daily Mirror online)
