Senior Vice President of the SLFP, Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva today said, the government must conduct an investigation into how and from where Hambantota District UNP parliamentarian Sajith Premadasa get funds to freely distribute among his supporters, some times as much as Rs.5000 each for a family.

Addressing a press briefing this morning at the Mahaweli Center Minister De Silva asked “Where all these money had been amassed and from where he gets all this money. (Sadun A. Jayasekara)

Well done Minister Siripala, you have just opened a box of worms. Let's begin this exercise of declaration of wealth with the ruling party ministers, member of parliament, provincial counselors etc, etc, and then role it out to all other opposition party members’ of parliament.
