JVP protest; Traffic in Kohuwala
Heavy traffic congestion has been reported in Kohuwala because of a protest campaign against the government by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), police said
The JVP protest started from Kohuwala Junction amid Government celebrations at the BMICH to mark the first anniversary of the Maithripala Sirisena’s Presidency.
The JVP protesters are wending their way to the Ananda Samarakoon Memorial Open Theatre at Nugegoda where a public rally is to be held.
