The National Building Research Organization said short while ago that primary signs of a landslide are currently occurring in the Ukuwela area in Matale district and warned the residents to be on alert.

 
NBRO Director General W.B.J. Fernando said that they are currently observing the situation and added that there is a high risk of a landslide to occur in the area. Meanwhile, two landslides have occurred at the Protof Estate, Nuwaraeliya and Ketabulawa Estate, Kotmale earlier today.
