A journalist attached to the Lanka e news website was reported missing since last night. Prageeth Eknaligoda was on his way home from work late last night at the time he went missing. The Editor of Lanka e news speaking to Daily Mirror online said that a police complaint has been lodged.
“Mr. Eknaligoda who left his workplace last night had not arrived home. His wife has lodged a complain at the Homagama Police”, said Mr. Senadheera.
He also said that when someone had called Mr. Eknaligoda on his way home he had heard him complain that they were not going in the correct direction.

Why do you not search Temple Trees for the missing journalist?? as SF will not stoop to so low tactics. People should try to look for the skeletons in his cuppboard before he became King of Sri Lanka !!!!!

Lalith Gamalath
This guy is a direct descendant of the traitor Eknaligoda who captured the Sri Wickrema Rajasinha for the English and also robbed his and his queen's jewelry. Good riddance

This is one of the best journalists who has been vociferous against all odds long before the Presidential election was announced. He has had the guts to highlight what ever was wrong with the system when ever an issue concerning the country was at stake. Rather than trying to find excuses which is almost tantamount to whitewashing this "worst of all governments" why not accept the fact that the government could no longer stand Pranith's forthright views.

He is paid to abscond and get himself dissappeared till election is over, so that JVP could get milage out of this.
These are old tricks that public will no more believe.
He is enjoying mug of beer in elsewhere.

Shame on you hen ling. Living in singapore u seem to have totally missed the bus . journalists over here have the freedom to write only as long as MR's virtues are extolled by them. Every single newspaper except for a very few have been "bought over" by the goverrnment. By either having editors as advisors or else givng them various hand outs or else having the owners closely involved in his campaign. etc
& this is what happens to the few who dare to NOT toe his line.
I hope this brave journalist has not come to any harm.

don’t believe what you see but make your own judgement…..MR was under a lot of pressure during the war but he continued and end it. As Sri Lankan’s we are very ungrateful people. Voting is totally up to the people of our country but have some respect for a great leader who end the war for our own future, SF did his job and what was asked to do..My vote goes to MR…

On the eve of a Presidential Election MR is not that silly to taint his name. It does not take a fool to realize that this is a desperate and a last ditch attempt to discredit MR. Some commentators still think that people of Sri Lanka are ignorant and naive. I hope Mr Eknaligoda would turn out like last time.

One can only laugh at the stupid theories propounded by people like Hen Ling and Louisa. According to them, every abduction is carried out by the victim himself and every murder is a suicide. There should be a limit to this madness and stupidity. Hope their brains will become normal after the elections at least.
