Five immigration officers have been injured at the Hong Kong airport following a struggle with a passenger arrived from Sri Lanka at the arrival hall.

It's understood a dispute broke out over a document at one of the immigration counters and a struggle followed.

Five officers were slightly hurt while trying to calm down the man. The passenger was also injured. The six were taken to hospital for treatment. A police spokesman said the 41 year old man had been arrested for alleged assault. (RTHK news)

Thousands of Sri Lankans live illegally in Hong Kong, and the Immigration Dept. here knows that Sri Lankans are up to every trick in the book to enter Hong Kong illegally. This incident will tarnish all Sri Lankans who live in Hong Kong and wish to travel here.
