Lankan expatriate stabbed and killed



A Sri Lankan expatriate, believed to be in his 30s, died and three others were wounded in a nasty fight that broke out among a group of Asians at a late hour in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, Kuwait.

On receiving information about the fight, security men and paramedics rushed to the scene, but were told that passers-by referred the injured to Farwaniya Hospital. Police then went to the hospital where they learnt that one of the men had died. He was reportedly stabbed twice in the neck.

Police arrested eight men involved in the fight, including the man accused of stabbing the Sri Lankan, and referred them all to authorities. (Arab Times)
