Maharoof appointed as Opp. Leader of CMC

UPFA’s Mohammed Maharoof has been appointed as the Opposition Leader of the Colombo Municipal Council by President Mahinda Rajapaksa today, informed sources said.
The position fell vacant following the resignation of Milinda Moragoda on April 25.
