Maithripala faults diplomats

Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena charged that certain Sri Lankan diplomats in Europe are not performing their duty and as a result of that President Mahinda Rajapaksa was blocked from delivering the speech at the Oxford University.

Speaking at a function in Colombo today, the Minister said that because of these lethargic diplomats, certain LTTE elements were able to block the speech of the President.

He also charged that these so called diplomats are enjoying a luxurious life there from the money of the Sri Lankan citizens.

Well most sri lankans knew it already. This statement will some day change to 'certain politicians in Sri Lanka are not performing their duty and as a result of that President Mahinda Rajapaksa was blocked from delivering the speech at the Local University'. we already know this too.
