Marvan shortlisted for head coach post

Sri Lanka Cricket announced at a meeting held today that it was decided to shortlist two candidates for the post of Sri Lanka Cricket national head coach which included Marvan Attapattu.

“The Committee had a discussion with Marvan Attapattu and will discuss with the other candidate during the course of the day and the final decision will be conveyed to the Ex-Co for their ratification tomorrow (24),” the statement said.

Now what the big fuss about this selection of national coach. There is a SriLankan who had performed very well at international levels proving his ability .The man most suitable seems to be our own Marvan Atapattu. Why should we get down 'suddas' from other countries when we have a home grown superb talented person for the job.?
