Mervyn challenges to prove allegation

Minister of Public Relations Mervyn Silva said today that a Minister had made remarks that he extorted money at the new Fish Market at Peliyagoda. “If this allegation is proved I will quit politics” he said.

“All the Ministers are my friends. But if anyone using the friendship says things without control, I will not be reluctant even to act against them,” he further said addressing an event at Kelaniya. (By Lal S. Kumara)
