A garage owner in Kandy was sentenced to three months imprisonment for the first time under the 'Mosquito Breed Act' after he pleaded guilty for mosquito breeding.

Additional Kandy Magistrate Theja Jayatunge sentenced the garage owner to prison, who pleaded guilty for breeding mosquitoes inside a vehicle tyre. (LBS)
