Badulla District UNP MP Vadivel Suresh who threatened to self-immolate in the chamber of Parliament over state workers’ salary issue, today attempted to take two cans of Petrol into Parliament, but Parliament police prevented it.
Yesterday, MP Suresh threatened to self-immolate in Parliament unless the government increase the salaries of plantation and estate sector workers by today.
