Video: MR says Pillay's report highly prejudiced
President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that the people of Sri Lanka believe that UN Rights Chief Navi Pillay had written her report even before she visited Sri Lanka.
“People of Sri Lanka think that she (Pillay) has written the report before she came here ... when she met me she didn't complain about anything .... This is a democratic country, they (the people) can say anything ....,” the President said in an interview with Al-Jazeera television.
Speaking further he said, “We allowed her to go anywhere, allowed her to meet anybody she wants .... This is propaganda against Sri Lanka, so please compare with other countries, don't isolate a small country like Sri Lanka and try to bully Sri Lanka.”

Sir, need to address the corruption and lawbreaking (mostly done by your followers). Like in Syria others are going to poke fingers when the government is corrupt and inefficient and people start complaining.

Pillai's report is full of shit, I'm not protecting the government, but where's her evidence, people will say many things in our country and it's people who are voting in favor of the government. I know.. I know you will say the elections are rigged, can be true for some parts but in many parts of the country people can vote freely so it's not justified. They paint a grim picture of the country which is not true. There are areas to improve, that I agree but the Pillai Report paint a picture of a complete Military rule, Have you guys been to Jaffna Lately lot of development work is in place, I know there are lot to do, but 30 years of wounds will not heal in 4 year, if you think like that you are just a fool.

I think the SWRD Bandaranayake and his Mrs did the wrong thing by Rajapakse's family, the former's children were sent to elite schools like St. Bridgets and Royal and IF Rajapakse's were sent to the leading schools he would have been more articulate., look at the way he speaks.

Really it is not bullying or jealous, US wants to test the R2P being practiced for its future endeavors of meddling in the countries of its choice, the target of srilanka to test it is obvious. Weak and small country, any one will believe the Powerful Tamil cause. So it is a two pronged attack by the Tamil diaspora and US. Both have something to gain. Navi Pillay would play to keep her job.
