All newly elected members of Local Government bodies should submit their assets declarations to the Commissioner of Elections before October 15, the Elections Office said.

A good move even to start with 'Halmassas', but how about Thora & Mora types? Are they above the law of the land?

Also, we urge you to recommend new laws regarding academic & professional qualifications required of a politician. So, you can initiate to introduce a new culture of politics in Sri Lanka.
