Still SL is regarded as a third world under developed country because of the low income status and debt we have incurred. A stupid port will not solve the prob when more than 80% of country is living under the poverty line.

Well whatever is new is good but it cannot surpass the Jaya container terminal built about few decades ago. Further whatever is earned through this port will be spent to maintain Hambantota port.
