The Labour Ministry announced that there would not be an additional public holiday in lieu of May Day falling on Sunday, but the private sector is requested to give an additional holiday for employees. (Daily MIrror online)

Kumara are you a Govt Employee. Even it is a working day when we go to Govt offices we are pushed from table to table. So if holiday or no holiday it will be the same.
