Anoma Fonseka, wife of parliamentarian Sarath Fonseka today said she does not expect justice for her husband from the President.
She made this remark at a DNA press conference where the party seniors requested the Maha Sangha, other religious leaders and public to come forward to protect the rights of the former Army Commander.

Let the whole nation pray for this great man. He may have done wrong. But God will be merciful to him and his wife and two children. Let us pray that our President will be sympathetic as he has been always with many others in this case too. After all he himself is a Father and a husband and he knows the agony of the family.

Its a crying shame for Sri Lanka, the way the former Army Commander is being ill- treated & humiliated. According to Buddhist teaching: karmically the people who subject him to this humiliation & suffering will eventually bring suffering on themselves & their families. No evil deed goes unpunished.
