The Excise Department said today that all the liquor shops in the island will be closed tomorrow (October 3) due to World Temperance day.

What is bad on one day is always bad. Why ban alcohol on specific days only. Very stupid and silly. Those who want will stock early.What is the message we are trying to deliver. YOU ARE FREE TO DRINK ON ANY DAY BUT PLEASE BUY YOUR STOCK EARLY ON VESAK DAYS AND WORLD TEMPERANCE DAY!!!!
