Norochcholai power plant temporarily closes

The Norochcholai power plant was shut down temporarily after a fire broke out. There were no major damages to the plant. The power supply is to be restored in a few hours.

The fire occurred in one coal crushing machine at Puttalam Lakwijaya. The plant was shut down to avoid any mishap due to overheating. There have been no reports of any damages to the plant yet. Authorities say that power supply would be restored shortly.

a rival paper of dailymirror has predicted an accident at norochcholai in its today's paper, which means they had got the story yesterday....the fire however broke out only this morning....what does this mean?

Chinese are playing hell....they have used substandard raw material for norochcholai plant and now trying to blame in on CEB....one should do a thorough analysis on the material used...

Chances are this accident a conspiracy.... individuals with vested interests want to take norochcholai from CEB and hand it over to china. One shouldn't be surprised if there are more fires....

The Chinese and the Treasury are eying the plant while CEB and minister are trying to keep it under ministry. It is unlikely this fire is an accident .... a hidden dragon is certainly at work
