One person was killed while 19 others were injured when the truck they were traveling from Sathurukondan to Mangalagama in Batticaloa crashed into a tree in Thanamunai area this afternoon.

The truck had reportedly crashed into the tree after one of its tires’s burst. The 19 youth who were injured were returning home after attending several educational courses. (Jibran)
