Pakistani nabbed with heroin worth Rs.2mn at BIA

A 48-year-old Pakistani was arrested this morning while attempting to smuggle into the country Rs.2 million worth of heroin, Customs media spokesman Leslie Gamini said.

He said the man had arrived from Qatar.

"The suspect was found wearing two pairs of underwear and he had concealed the packet containing 200 grams of heroin between the two pairs of underwear," Mr.Gamini said.

He was arrested by officials of the Customs Narcotic Unit at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA).(Chaturanga Pradeep)

why majority of the smugglers are from Muslim community and from Pakistan. over to our Muslim community.

This would have been done to commemorate the visit of Pakistani PM. FTA for Heroin would have been signed during his visit !!!
