PC arrested taking liquor as ransom

A Police Constable attached to the Mt. Lavinia police station was taken into custody for taking bottles of liquor and money as ransom after threatening shop owners in the Mt.Lavinia area yesterday, police said.
They said that action has been taken to produce the suspect before the Court.
