PC killed by train

A 52-year old Police Constable attached to the Weligama Police station was run over by the Matara-Colombo train in Ahangama this morning, Police said.
The Police have determined the incident is not an accident and that the victim – a resident from Ahangama, had deliberately jumped before the train near the 132 ½ mile post at 5.45 am today.
