Postal Vote: Can vote on August 11
People who had missed to cast their postal votes could vote on August 11 as well, the Elections Department said today.Marking of postal voting commenced on August 3 for the school teachers and voting took place on August 5th and 6th for other public sector workers.
Additional Commissioner of the Department R.M.A.L. Rathnayake said August 8 has been allocated for the Elections Department and the District Secretariat officials to cast their postal votes.
He said August 8 was weekend day and those who had missed casting the vote could vote on August 11.
