Power cuts affecting several areas will be discontinued from tonight as the Lakwijaya power plant is slated to add 300MW to national grid, the Ceylon Electricity board said.

There are power cuts every in day in all the other south asian countries including india..Around 60% of the households in every south asian country doesnt have current (apart from Sri Lanka , ours is 90%)
