President returns
President Mahinda Rajapakse who was in Iran to attend the 16th heads of state conference of the Non Aligned Nations, has returned to the country in the early hours today, officials said.
During the visit, President Rajapakse held bilateral talks with Pakistan president Asif Ali Sardari and Bangladeshi Prime Minister Mrs. Sheik Haseena, Iranian spiritual leader Ayaltullah Ali Khomaini, Iranian President Mohommed Ahamedinejad and Lebanese President General Mishel Suleiman.
