Probe on UNP MPs security personnel

An investigation will be launched to determine whether the security personnel accompanying UNP MPs visiting Hambantota had carried out their duties efficiently, police said.

The UNP MPs, who visited the Hambantota Port and the Mattala Airport yesterday, came under attack by a group of government supporters led by local politicians when the visitors were leaving the harbor premises. (LSP)

Why are they accusing the Police Officers? They are not the
bodyguards of the UNP MP's. They are Mayors (and his followers) bodyguards. Poor guys. Very unfair to accuse them.
