Sri Lanka's United Nations Ambassador Palitha Kohona said like in other countries including the United States, it would take time to complete investigations into allegations levelled against Sri Lanka.
“Some of these issues based on allegations, can be defiantly determined only after proper investigations have been conducted, as you know from your experience in other countries, including the US, it takes time,” Dr. Kohona told Al-Jazeera.
Admitting that there was much to be done, Dr. Kohona said four years was not enough to assess if Sri Lanka was allowing impunity.
Explaining his government's actions in investigating war crimes allegations, Dr. Kohona said, “There is much to be done, but given his country's level of resources it will take time.”
The envoy said Sri Lanka had done an enormous amount of work, and this had been acknowledged by UN officials who visited the country.

The level of violence against the nation justifies the action taken by Sri Lanka. LTTE and diaspora that financed the raist, genocidal terrorists has to take the responsibility for cosequences. They killed civilians and sacrificed civilian lives. They were then prepared to fight to the end and to the last man and lost badly. Now they whinge. No investigations of Lankan forces!

Don't kid yourself that all this is for 'justice' for the tamils. Its just a case of diaspora money and tamil votes talking. You think the US and others would spend so much time on a tiny nation like us if there was no benefit for them?

The LTTE supporters think they can smell blood and are going hysterical but they don't realize its just a natural monthly flow and nothing much to get excited about.....unless you're a tampon!
