Protester in critical condition

One of the protesters who received gun shot injuries during the protest at the Katunayake Free Trade Zone, is in a critical conduction, Ragama hospital sources said.

The victim is , Roshan Shanaka (22).

According to the hospital sources one of his kidneys is completely dysfunctional, while a leg has been amputated as a result of the heavy injuries the protestor suffered

Meanwhile, two policemen have been arrested by the CID following the investigations, police spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody said. (Bigun Menaka Gamage)

freedom of expression is a basic right and we have to respect to it in the name of democracy.

But other hand we should undestand the reality in the world where things happening in iraq, agfanistan or other palces in the name of demacracy. we leant that western power used name of democracy to in order to them to involve internal matters of other states. therefore our politicialns and people must undesttand that and react .
power greedy politicians can turn around things without looking countrys future prospect as things happened in 88-89.
